[OOC] Arcane Timeline
So the timeline in Ekko's wiki page is kind of incomplete. It only goes up until what happens at the end of Act I directly on his page and everything else is kind of scattered. So I'm compiling all of the information here.

ACT II
-- Seven Years after Silco killed Benzo and Vander, took in Powder (now Jinx), and Vi was sent to prison, Piltover is celebrating all of its technological advancements with Progress Day.
-- The Firelights (lead by Ekko) attack a ship containing a hidden shimmer cargo at an airship dock. The officials at the airship are paid off by Silco to look the other way. The Firelights attack the cargo, trapping the guards using special grenades that create crystal prisons around them that last for five minutes. But Jinx is also there guarding it. Eve is killed while Jinx loses control on the ship but the other Firelights get away.
-- Jinx kills a bunch of Enforcers while trying to show off and instead of be taken in, Silco convinces Marcus to pin the murders on the Firelights.
-- The Firelights attack Jinx and Vi during their big REUNION after Caitlyn gets Vi out of prison, and Vi doesn't know they are led by Ekko. They knock out Caitlyn and Vi and use a smoke grenade to get away, leaving Jinx there but taking Vi and Caitlyn with them.
ACT III
-- The Firelights separate Caitlyn and Vi, leaving them cuffed and Ekko reveals himself to Vi. He asks her if she's working for Silco now because of seeing her with Jinx but Vi denies that and they hug it out. Then he shows her around the Firelights hideout in the sewers of Zaun, including the mural of all the people lost since Silco staged his takeover. In the center of their hideout is a huge tree, thriving on the sunlight from a hole in the ceiling of the sinkhole and the careful measures taken by the Firelights and others to preserve it. There are even homes built onto the sides of the massive tree, including Ekko's.
-- Because Vi vouches for Caitlyn, Ekko offers her a guide back topside to Piltover, but won't give her anything else.
-- Ekko informs Vi and Caitlyn that Silco pays the Enforcers to hunt down Firelights and take out any dissidents of his control over Zaun but Caitlyn refuses to believe him. They argue and Caitlyn insists the gemstone they took back from Jinx will go a long way to convincing Jayce and the council to do more to help the people of the undercity. Ekko doesn't believe her, thinking talking things out with the council will never work. Caitlyn and Vi convince him to try, but he insists he has to be the one to bring the gemstone to them and speak his case.
-- When crossing the Bridge of Progress, Vi tells Ekko and Caitlyn she can't abandon her sister and turns to go back. Caitlyn and Ekko are confronted by Enforcers at the blockade outside Piltover, led by Marcus, who Caitlyn trusts. She tells him that Silco and his group are behind everything and Ekko decides to show some trust by showing the canister with the gemstone only to be shot by Marcus. Thankfully he has a metal armor plate under his clothes to protect him.
-- Marcus hesitates to kill Caitlyn and a swarm of robotic firelights bugs show up only to explode all around them, having been built by Jinx. Many Enforcers are injured and die from the explosions, and Jinx comes in to kill who is left. Vi comes back because of the explosions and helps an injured Caitlyn which only pisses of Jinx who tries to shoot them.
-- Ekko glides in on his hoverboard and knocks away the gun and takes back the canister. He throws it to Vi and Caitlyn and tells them to go on without him and he'll deal with Jinx. They fight each other and Ekko gets the upper hand, beating Jinx into the ground only he stops, unable to take the killing blow as he looks at the girl who used to be his best friend. Jinx then pulls a grenade pin right next to them and it goes off.
-- Ekko is injured, his leg broken, but he hides out on the edge of the bridge trying to think of a way to get back to the Firelights hideout. Heimerdinger comes along and sees his hoverboard and then finds Ekko. He speaks of losing his place on the council and how he wanted to help in Zaun but no one seemed to want him there. Ekko laughs at this and Heimerdinger says Ekko should get some medical attention, but you know, the guy was holding Ekko's ride.
-- Heimderdinger helps Ekko get back to the Firelight's refuge and is shocked by what they've accomplished in so short a time. He will go on to explain his goals to Ekko and how he truly just wants to help do some good and he thinks they can both do that if they are willing to work together.
